>THE STORY OF US< “The Us Project” was a project called "Us", formed and created by Singer/Songwriter/Drummer, Scott Berendt, in the late 90's. Then called the "Us" project" many times in local and regional newspaper articles, Scott Berendt's band became known as " The Us Project”. The band consisted of more then two dozen rotating musicians through the course of eight years and two CD's that each of the musicians recorded on. All the songs were written and produced by Berendt & the band as a whole in the studio and were performed live to sell out crowds for many years. Many of the performers, including Scott, still travel, tour, and play today in other bands. "The Us Project" headlined and opened for many national acts & big bands over the years, including headlining in LA at the Whisky A Go Go, the House of Blues, Navy Pier, Jazz In The Park, Potawatomi Casino, to a Cruise Ship concert to Cozemal and many times at Summerfest in Milwaukee . BUT, this will be the 2nd time in 6 months and 2nd time in many years that most of The Us Project will come together to make one huge " Reunion show and performance. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ August 4, 2010

________________________________________________________________________________________________ 6/11/2010TRINITY LANE'S - If I Fall In Love Tonight climbs from #50 to #34 on the country main Chart ! ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Deka Records Of Former Fame Coming Soon! 6/07/2010 - Of Former Fame rose from the ashes of a Craigslist ad and locally successful Portland band 737. After leaving 737 to finish his degree, bass player Omni (Joel) began to miss the call of the stage and the thrill of playing live. He soon hopped on the internet to look for a singer to start his own band using his own music and his weapon of choice, guitar. After a few tryouts, a singer was found and Omni began scouring the PDX area for other potential rockers. Eventually he stumbled upon a man named Brent at work. “He just looked like a drummer,” says Joel. So one day Omni introduced himself in the employee cafeteria and 2 sentences later inquired if Brent played an instrument. It turns out Omni's suspicions were right, though Brent had not played drums for a while and didn't own a kit after his last had been borrowed permanently (read, “stolen”). Omni persisted in convincing Brent to remedy this and they soon became a trio. Shortly thereafter it became apparent that a second guitar would be needed for the extra melodies in Omni's head and Steve, an old high school friend he had recently reconnected with, was brought on board. They cycled through possible names and to their disappointment, the first few good ones turned out to be taken. While fooling around with pen and paper at work, Brent happened upon an idea in cursive that he liked. He presented it to the band and all agreed the title was worthy. Of Former Fame finally had a name. Bassist through bassist flew through the band and they began to fear none suitable could be found. The group continued to try out bass players and practice in the singer's garage until the Police politely informed them they had to cease and desist, now. With the lack of an appropriate practice pad and their first gig coming within weeks, they improvised by moving to an electronic kit and direct amplifier simulations via Roland and Line 6 gear. Now hours of practice could be had with only the click of sticks and belting vocals heard beyond the practice room door. They continue this tradition to this day. After winning a narrow second place spot in the Battle of the Bands, the unanimous theme from the crowd was, “You guys are AWESOME! but your singer sucks.” As you might imagine the original vocalist quickly disappeared from the roster and Steve moved over from second guitarist to front man with some gentle prodding and occasional death threats. Many original songs were crafted and as time went on, Omni recorded their first 7 song EP with much blood, sweat and coffee. O.F.F. placed their music in as many locations on the web as they could find and started gathering a steady stream of fans online. Still out a permanent bassist, O.F.F. continued to audition and play shows with different bass players until one day Jason (JD) responded to the call and the search finally ceased. With their lineup now complete, and Deka Records helping hands, Of Former Fame's story continues into territory unknown… ________________________________________________________________________________________________ 6/2/2010TRINITY LANE'S - If I Fall In Love Tonight climbs 4 spots from to #46 on the country main Chart ! ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Drainage X out today please make sure to get your copy! FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE May 03, 2010 – Born in Sault Ste. Marie, Canada , raised in Blind River, Canada , Chris grew up listening to Country Music playing on the radio in his Fathers garage , and his Uncle playing Old Country songs on guitar. He enjoyed the outdoors , going fishing and boating , and of course playing guitar himself . But at the age of Sixteen Chris packed up and moved to Toronto . For Eight years Chris worked in construction , played the bars , played on the street , but found no one interested in playing Country Music…… In 2004 Chris moved to London, Ontario to make a change in his life. He joined a band that played some Good ol'Country songs. Now he is still playing those good ol' songs. EYE RECKON was formed in 2005 in Southern Ontario Canada. Chris Blatter; Songwritter, lead vocalist, guitarist and piano player joined with musicians Dave Mitchell and Billy Norrie have played many shows around Canada and the United States. EYE RECKON's main focus was their original songs, even though they've played many shows where cover songs were the main interest. Pulling out a few of their own songs always caught the ear of the people, and that is what EYE RECKON enjoys. EYE RECKON is a very motivated, serious, and energetic band. They've seen alot of talent out there, and they are very aware of how hard it is in this industry called (MUSIC), but they love what they do , and they are very proud to try to do their best in this industry. The one thing these boys always tell me is: "You only live once, so make it good, and even if you don't make it, doing what you love, remember that the fun you have over the years trying to get there is what you can call (LIVING YOUR DREAM)". ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Deka Records - Drainage X Coming Soon!
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Apr 29, 2010 – - Drainage X's sound comes from many years of combined experience. Drainage X keeps the music heavy but courageously intimidating at the same time. Whether you're listening to one of the CDs, or watching them live in concert, there is a guarantee you'll never forget them. Drainage X started in November 2002, and is originally from Lancaster, California. They are currently based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and have been for several years. Crystel Sins (Drainage X manager and back up vocals) helped put together the band by bringing together a couple of great musicians she knew professionally.Blood Bath, the 2003 EP, was written by Drainage X during eight long months in the garage, after which they were prepared to begin doing live shows and touring. The response was overwhelming, and it was at that point that they knew they had something special. Audiences everywhere loved the sound, make up, costumes, and live show presence of the band, and Drainage X was encouraged to continue writing, performing, and perfecting the band. They began entering, and subsequently winning, multiple "Battle of the Bands" shows, both locally and nationally. Drainage X has been represented and recognized by awards at such shows as The New York International Music Festival (2004) The band underwent several personnel changes, but have assembled a line-up which is here to stay. These influences can be heard in the music written by Drainage X. DVS (bass guitar) is new to the band as of September 2009, he is into all types of rock and metal. Rodent was more of a punk rocker when he joined Drainage X, listening to Pennywise, NoFX, and The Dead Kennedies, but still loves bands like Pantera, Slayer, Korn, Head P.E., and Black Sabbath as some of his primary musical influences. At this point they have done three national tours and opened up fpr such acts as ICP, Gwar, Cattle Decapitation, Ice T, Ice Cube, Primer 55, Mushroom Head, Vanilla Ice, Kotton Mouth Kings and many more. Drainage X has a strong national fan base which gets larger every day because of hard work and effort to expose the band and their music. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Apr 26, 2010 – Born and raised in a small town of Winterville, North Carolina Ronnie Run is a well-known rapper with a lot of streets credit. “I want to put North Carolina on the map and show people that there is talent around the state.” Growing up around the Pitt County area was just plain and real for Ronnie. “Where I'm from was nothing different from your New York or LA. Living in the South; the pace is slow and the hard work is there.” Starting out as a DJ; Ronnie knew or thought this was something he wanted to do. “After the Dj thing fell through; “I had a backup plan and it was rapping.” Ronnie's influences are God, my daughter Jocelyn, my family, The Sugar Hill Gang, Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, 2Pac, Notorious BIG, Rakim, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, KRS-One, LL Cool J, Run DMC, Beastie Boys, Jay-Z and the list goes on and on. “I remember the first time I heard “Rapper's Delight” by the Sugar Hill Gang and I knew from that point; rapping was something I wanted to do.” It was during a school test when Ronnie wrote his 1st rap song. After that I called my cousin Big Buji and he told me that he was putting beats together so we got in the studio and did my first EP "Lyrical Masta;" it became a street classic. Two of those songs hit the radio airwaves "Ghetto Stress FT. Black Chyna” and “North Kack for Real.” With the success of these songs, I thought it was time for me to try a new producer. I kept writing and one day while listening to a mix tape I called the producer off the CD, and the rest is history. ” I called the producer from Sick Man Productions, we talked and within two weeks I was recording my first song;”Back 4 Tha' Third Time”. The title track, “4 tha' Club,” debuted on the radio and quickly caught buzz around town as well as in other states outside of North Carolina. After the song appeared on the radio; Ronnie thought it would be a good idea to shoot a video for the song. “I got with my homeboy John RoRech and we ask Shawn (the owner of Club Dynasty) if it was ok to shoot the video there and he said it was cool.” About two months later I submitted the video to BET late night show “Uncut” and within a week the video was being shown before a nationwide audience. “I thought it was a blessing and an honor to be seen and heard on a level like that.” Soon after that; Ronnie thought it was time to hit the studio again and keep the street flooded with some more hits. “I had to build up my fan base so that when I drop the sampler CD “Cleanin' Houze”; the fans would love what they heard. ” There was one joint the fans and the DJ's were feeling and that was “Bump Dis' (Carolina Ridin'). “I thought it was time to show the world how the Carolinas get down and let them know what we were all about.” Now Ronnie Run is about to drop his mix tape “Hot Joints Vol. 1” with 2 tracks making noise as we speak. You can't go wrong with “I Remember,” and “Street Legends” ft Big Hop which is making some crazy noise as we speak! Ronnie is continuing to network and recording, waiting to get a break. “I am bringing a whole lot to the table as an artist and I am willing to give 200% if needed”
